Cyclone Separator Manufacturers in India-Cyclone Separators in India
Thermin Energy System Pvt. Ltd. is recognized in the industry as the Cyclone Separators Manufacturers in India, also we are Cyclone Separators Suppliers, Exporters in India.
Our Cyclone Separator in India is one such system used in the dust control process in various industrial sectors. To meet the requirements of optimal air flow and pressure drop, a large number of thinner and longer cyclones are arranged in parallel and combine all inlets into a common inlet in Separator and all inlets enter and exit through a single common exit.
As the swirling flow moves towards the center of the cyclone, centrifugal forces act on the particles suspended in the fluid. These forces cause the heavier particles to move towards the outer wall of the cyclone while the lighter particles remain closer to the center.
Cyclone Separator
The separator follows the principle of using inertia and centrifugal force to form a double vertex to separate heavier dust collector from dust-containing gas. The effectiveness of a cyclone separators in collecting fine dust is highly dependent on the amount of centrifugal force generated and the longer residence time to allow more dust to settle. These two factors increase the ability to separate seeds better. The centrifugal force can be increased by decreasing the cyclone diameter, and the residence time can be increased by increasing the cone height.
Features of Cyclone Separator:
- Simplicity
- Low maintenance requirements
- High separation efficiency
- Suitability for a wide range of applications
How it works?
A Cyclone Separators is a type of industrial equipment used for separating solid particles from a gas or liquid stream. It operates on the principle of centrifugal force to separate particles of different sizes and densities.
The contaminated gas or liquid enters the cyclone separator through an inlet pipe. The incoming flow is introduced tangentially into a cylindrical chamber known as the cyclone body. This tangential entry imparts a swirling motion to the fluid, creating a vortex inside the chamber.
The separated particles are then collected at the bottom of the cyclone, forming a conical-shaped accumulation, while the cleaned gas or liquid stream exits through an outlet at the top.
Common types of Cyclone Separator:
- Reverse-Flow Cyclones: Gas enters from the top, and particles are collected at the bottom.
- Straight-Through Cyclones: Gas and particles exit at the same end.
- Multiple Cyclones: Several cyclones may be connected in parallel or series for more efficient separation.
Industrial Applications of Cyclone Separator:
- Dust Collection: Cyclone Separators are widely used to remove dust and particulate matter from industrial exhaust gases, improving air quality and preventing equipment damage.
- Agriculture: In agriculture, our separators are used to separate grains, dust, and chaff from harvested crops.
- Petrochemical: These separators are used to separate solid particles from gases in refineries and chemical processing plants.
- Mining: They are employed to separate ore particles from air or water in mineral processing operations.
- HVAC Systems: Cyclone separators are used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to remove dust and debris from incoming air streams.
